What is the largest spare tire that will fit in the spare tire mount of a 86 XJ?

Engine: 4.0L
I have had a 33 and a 35 in the stock location of my 97, with a slight mod to the mount. With the 35 the seat didn't go all the way back to latch, about an inch and a half shy, but nobody rides back there anyway.
