One thing don't use their fill plug to judge how much gear oil to use. Your axle seals will leak like a sob.

No chips in it yet.............It's been on there since August......
No need to strip the powder coat......(you would never get it off anyway, unless you sandblasted it)
Just scuff it a little, and clean it really good................Then paint away.

I drilled it, and tapped it for an 1/8" pipe thread plug................I used an 11/32" drill bit, and I have a 1/8" pipe tap.........

YES! True...................I forgot about that.........
I put 3 whole quarts of fluid in mine, and it wasn't anywhere close to the fill hole...................I called it good then...............

Remember also the benefit of a high fill plug. For people that have their pinions raised, the extra oil comes in handy. I have to put my solid cover on my 8.25 this weekend and I. Looking forward to getting rid of the factory rubber plug that leaks due to my pinion angle

If I full to the drain plug hole in the rear that **** takes like 4 quarts. And then gets spit out the breather hose. Lol. Rust proof the body rail I guess...

Nah, you're doing it wrong. You should have relocated the breather hose to the engine bay by now lol
