So my grandpa came up with a freakin great idea. My local steel place has diamond plate! We are going to get a 4x4 sheet of it and cut it out for the rockers and the rear 1/4 panels!!! Then get it powder coated black here are some finished pics
Tell me what you think!
This was for my paint supplier. So i am going to print this picture for him and he can display it Total cost of paint supplys- 207$

Ya it sounds like it will look cool, just an idea but I think it would look good if the entire trim area was black (like mine)

Ya where the door dramatically bumps out close to the bottom.. like this v but instead of the rest being red it would be yellow

if you want a great fininsh i would also wet sand and polish it. if might look good now which any paint job will, but after you wet sand and polish it... WOW amazing results. plus it will take out any orange peel that you might have. wich im guessing you have since you used cheaper guns. no saying anything bad about what you used. just trying to get the best shine for your jeep. any queastions feel free to ask me. i work at an auto shop and do body work all the time. last week we had to sand down a truck to the metal and repaint the whole thing. 22 hours, in the same day, later it came out looking cherry
