Which rust are you referring to? Inside the rockers?

I have a 94 parts Xj I've been looking to cut up, but no reason to do it yet. Pay for shipping and it's yours.

Interested? I'm from new Iberia witch is deep sounth Louisiana. Im pretty sure I can rap it up in some suran wrap, put the sticker on it and off she goes without being to much money. I'd estimate maybe 35-45 bucks maybe, I'm about to bring it to the scrap yard anyways. If your interested pm me and we can talk about it.

Instead of that other set of sliders do this but go higher...

Cheaper and more effective.

So I should go up to the bottom of where pillar starts? And cut my doors?? What's the advantage of hight? When the unibody rail is still way low..?

I say go higher simply because you'll get rid of that much more sheet metal. Regardless of unibody height you're still gaining outer clearance. I notice a significant increase of clearance under rockers after I cut out the factory stuff and went higher with the replacement and I really didn't go that high.

In your case, I'd cut all the way up to the bottom of the b-pillar and install rockers there. Yes, cut the bottom of the door.
