Eliminates the slip yoke :-D. The slip yoke is at the back of the transfer case. It is attached to your driveshaft and slides in and out of the output housing as the suspension cycles. With the sye it gets rid of that and solidly bolts the driveshaft to the output shaft. Then you use a two piece driveshaft that slides. The front driveshaft is set up like this. Look at the difference from where the front goes into the transfer case and where the rear goes into the transfer case.
