A small flood..
Over the weekend I was out wheeling and going through some deep water and driving fast through puddles. Once I got back on the road I noticed I had a small flood going on my driver side floor. The water did not seem to be coming in from the door but from under the center conical toward the engine. My XJ is a 97 and a 5 speed. I looked under the drivers side floor and did not see any rust where it could of came through. Any ideas of how to avoid this or drain it. I don’t want it to start to rust under my carpet. Thank in advanced.

Thats what I was asking. Is there any kind of boot that seals it or is it just opened. I've never had the tranny our so I would not know.
