After a few months of driving without it, I decided to put the front swaybar back on. I have the RE swaybar relocation kit and I had to move the mounts on the axle end up about an inch to keep the drag link from hitting them, with it setup like that I am having trouble finding a swaybar disconnect kit that has short enough links. I tried the RC kit but the links are 11" when adjusted all the way down which is way to long, I need some that are around 6-8" long.

I did the rough country links on mine, but cut off a few inches of the shaft and re-threaded them. Did this about a year ago and they seem to be holding up good.

I thought about doing that but I didn't know how easy they would be to thread, all I have is a tap and die set.

It wasn't horrible, but time consuming. The hardest part was getting the dies to start straight, one of mine was just a hair crooked but the end still threaded on. Use alot of cutting oil, and I bought 2 dies just in case.

To help to tap it straight tap it before you cut it so the threads will start the tap .

I got it done yesterday, they threaded easier than what I thought, it must be the cheap metal that Rough Country uses.
