Can sway links be to long?
Installed an RC 3 inch kit last weekend and really had to force the sway bar back up into position to put the bolts back in. I know my factory links are to short, and they have my sway bar positioned close to the coils, but anyway my question is, I'm gonna order new longer links, and I can get a set of 4.5 lift sway end links on eBay for 40-60 dollars and I plan of making them quick discos. Will the 4.5 links be to long to run on my 3 inch kit? And just so ya know. I plan on moving up to 4.5 one day so I figured I Might the able to get away with buying end links 1 time, instead of buying 3 inch links, then have to by 4.5 inch links later down the road

Huh. Maybe...I just figured sense there is a lot of stress and pressure on them that it would make it a little rough...but it could be just the new lift and I'm not used to it...but alrighty. Thanks

In general, you want to keep the ends of the swaybar parallel to the ground. The greater the variation of this, the greater the bar will bind in it's motion. Longer or shorter than optimum endlinks will also cause the bushings at the end of the link to wear more quickly.

To much money right now. There what like 150 give or take? Not positive. And I don't got that kinda money right now. So I just need to get the links correct length and then replace the sway bar frame bushings cause mine are GONE and make tons of clunking racket
