Default Shocks. What to buy.

Bought this jeep recently, it has some kind of rough country lift(he didn't know what one he bought-.-, and I don't know how to tell) anyway. The shocks are like bricks. Horribly uncomfortable, in looking for some shocks that won't make my ride annoying. Don't really need them to be to amazing at road, just preferably not complete garbage if I decide to do some crazy wheeling. Opinions?
4.5" lift, 245 wrangler mtrs, if that info helps.

Bilsteins...5100.. run about 300 a set. Just remember that basically all white body shocks are the same.

x2 on Bilsteins. Ranchos are popular as well, but a twin tube design I believe.

Why spend 150 on half decent shocks when you can have a set of the best known and most recommended for around 130 more
