Just a heads up that Fox is much better than Bilstein. Bilstein builds a quality shock but the valving is usually wrong. Fox puts more effort into getting the valving correct.
Unfortunately I'm out of the loop on the current budget shocks, but in general you get what you pay for in terms of ride quality and durability.

Running Bilstein 5100's on my rig. Fox makes good shocks, but I prefer Bilstein for whatever reason. Working great for me. I only have ~100 miles on them (installed this past Sunday), and they are a bit stiff still, but they should soften up after 500 miles or so.
I paid $68 for each shock on Amazon, which would have been $270 for the shocks.
