Shocks 0-3"
I have a 99 Cherokee XJ model and wanted to know which shock can I buy where I can use it with my stock suspension for now to pass state inspection and use the same shock for later to lift my XJ with a 3" lift kit.
Seems like all the shocks I see are range specific and im wondering if a i get a shock that says its for a lift 2-3.5" will I be good for passing inspection with the stock springs on?

I'm running 3" procomp shocks in mine right now... was originally stock height and i'm at about 1" lift right now... only gives you about 2 inches of uptravel on the fronts... so yes it's definetly doable to run stock height with those, but i cant say if you'll pass an inspection with them or not...
I was hoping to find something made from Fox, OME, or Bilstein but the range from stock 0" setting dont go up to 3", it jumps for being made for 2"-3.5" lift and 0"-2" wont be high enough for what I want. Just trying not to do a double purchase for shocks.
