hey has anyone used dakota (96 or older) shackles on a cherokee they are a little longer and will be perfect for what i need. But is the bushing hole the same?

Also has any one found a site other than procomp that lists their shocks by length i need a certain length and no one around here can find them

 

Not sure about the shackle but, you should be able to call up any of the major off road shock brands and get the correct length shock. Once you have the extended and compressed lenghts you need call up your favorite vendor and ask them. If that fails then call up the manufacturer and get the part number for the length you need of what ever brand shock you want to run and take that to your vendor. Shouldn't be a big deal.

 

ya thats what i though, and i found out the dakota one has a 1/2in bolt hole and the jeeps is a 14mm so unless you want to try and drill out the center of the bushing a little it wont work

 

whats wrong with some drilling? lol
