driveshaft knock....
just installed an 8.25 axle from a 1997 cherokee under my sons 1990 cherokee in place of the d35. the driveshaft from the 8.25 seemed to short so i installed the original driveshaft back under jeep, with new u-joints. i now have a knocking sound at tcase.
1. the jeep has a 4.5" lift, but noises before axle swap.
2. in a haste i forgot to mark the relation between the shaft/yoke
or pinion
