I have a Rubicon Express 4 1/2 inch lift kit that I bought for my Xj that did not come with shock absorbers. I didn't get the kit with shock absorbers because I was interested in purchasing Bilstein since all I hear are good things. My question is with a 4 1/2 inch lift what extended and collapsed should I get? I am not going to put the lift on and then measure so that is out of the question. I am going to be running a set of 33x10.5 km2s. I looked at rubicon express's shocks that come with the kit that includes shock absorbers and they measure 27.8 extended and 17.2 collapsed. The only bilsteins I could find to fit xj were 24.61 extended and 14.98 collapsed. Are these ok for me to get for my 4 1/2 or will these be too small. Any input would be greatly appreciated, not too familiar with shock absorbers.

Honestly I think getting a package that is meant for your lift height is better then ball packing it. Bilstein 5100 for 3.5-4.5" lift Rubicon Express 4.5-5.5 Monotube or Rubicon Express 4.5-5.5 Twin Tube. Prices are good and they know what to send instead of lets say you buy from amazon where your guessing what will work.
