Unhappy shifted axle

ok so i have a 90 xj 5 spd 4wd 4.0 i put a lift on (blocks) i know i know im upgrading to new leafs but post lift the pinion bearing went out so i replaced the axle and lucky me i got a really good deal on a axle with 4.10s but i was just under it and it seems like my axle has actually slid to the passenger side about and half of an inch what could cause this the u bolts are as tight as they could be any ideas? thanks in advance

Ubolts are the only thing that hold that axle onto the leafs. If those are tight your axle will shift but you say they are tight. Are the leafs still attached to the leaf springs? The leaf spring center bolt still in the whole on the perch?

yeah the leafs are still attached and the center bolt is lined up. the blocks on both sides to the axle are flush as well as the blocks to the leafs is it possible the bushings on the leafs bad and the actual leaf is shifted to the right?

That could well be. Are the leafs bent? I have bent 2 leafs before and that of course shifted my axle over to one side some
