I am currently am sitting at ~2" or lift and I am looking to move up to ~3". My current lift is spacers out front and a bastard pack consisting a stock XJ pack and a S10 main spring AAL. I am also in possession of some MJ shackles that I have yet to put on.

My question is should I ditch the MJ shackles and get K1500 shackles to set me at about 3.5" in the rear or use the MJ shackles and add another spring from a stock XJ pack to get me to ~3"?

Which option is better? Obviously the K1500 shackles would be easier, but which one will give me better performance?

My XJ is a DD and mild weekend wheeler
