Do NOT get the rustys. It is a giant piece of crap that eats through TREs, will not stay aligned and has a ton of bump steer. On top of that, if you have a aftermarket dif cover, its straight design will collide with it.
I switched from that to the Currie system and it is much better... It is super stout, easy to align and clears everything no problem with that bend. That being said, if I could do it all again, I would go with a system that has a separate drag link/tie rod and get rid of the inverted Y all together. ( Like the Iron Rock Offroad kit) Jcroffroad.com also makes one I believe.
The best thing you can probably ever do is the WJ swap. Not only do you get an awesome steering setup, you get larger/better brakes as well.
But please, dont get the rustys kit. I literally traded it for a box of 30-06 shells and an energy drink to a guy who sold it in a month and bought the IRO kit. I now wheel with him quite frequently and kinda feel bad about getting that much from him for that POS.

Look at seriousoffroad. Wouldn't bother spending all that money to keep the Y setup. If you have -33" tires you should just go with a ZJ V8 tie rod and call it done.

Welcome to the forum, see this is your first post!
You didn't say why your wanting to upgrade hardcore rock crawling and serious off road or mostly an off road trail rig? Most do a ZJ mid-90's V-8 GC complete tre setup for that part 10x stronger than the stock XJ setup and direct bolt-in to boot. Best part under a $100 at AutoZone using the better parts.
As far as Rustys parts don't have this one but do have over $5k of his parts and never a single issue period. Still waiting to see some photos of his "Crap parts" now for over 2 yrs. now have yet to see a single one and have asked. Just saying is all.

There are 3 pcs. the long tie rod with end, a short tie rod and the sleeve are all that is required. AutoZones better part line are Moogs also and what I used but you did save on sales tax.

Good choice man! Should work well for ya.
As far as Rusty's goes, Ive bought a few parts from him over the years. The steering was terrible. One of the worst parts Ive ever put on my Jeep. The Roll-Bar I had to use two winches on either side of my Jeep to get it in right. (Bought it years ago before knowing about bolt-in Roll cages). The flexible flares work great but I had to cut them up a bit to avoid rubbing while flexed out with 35s. For no apparent reason they put a giant lip on the bottom. I also had a truss he no longer offers that didn't do much at all. (Was cheap at least). I can't speak on his lifts and stuff as Ive never ran them but people run them seem to like them.

I got all 3pcs the tie rod end, adjusting sleeve, and the tie rod itself. It was the best moog parts that they offered.
I have the rustys steel flat fender flares on and the new bumper they offer and I am really impressed by both the flares and the bumper. The flares I had to trim a lot but it was worth it I can literally stand on them and they wont break. I haven't tried any other parts of his right now.
