My best suggestion would be to start reading and using the search button for many of these simple questions, that is the way you gain knowledge or at least the way I always have for basic's.
On a 25 yr old XJ most of them have a very worn front end by this time and need a complete rebuild before any lift is done or real problems can come up. Hardcore had nothing to do with doing a lift this size properly and the items needed to do it. So you do already have 4.56 gears to go with the 33's, and an SYE with a good driveshaft a must have for a lift over 3". The lockers should have been installed at the same time as the gears no additional cost then and a must for off road.

How did this kit work for you? Do you like it? Trying to find a long arm lift kit for my 88 Comanche Long Bed. Rusty's is the only one that seems compatible. Would like to here your input and see any pictures. Thanks in advance.
