I used a Newmar RA-1 marine cable feed-thru. So far, it has held up to a few good rainstorms and several trips to the car wash with no signs of a leak. Highly recommended.
They are also available in several larger sizes (RA-2, RA-3) to accommodate larger-diameter wires/cables/bundles.

I like that idea^^ but not for the money... and flipping less than a dollar for a cordtite..... but 9 bucks for shipping?!?! Gotta be kidding me!! Wish I could make something like those two things.. for free.
Check around with boat shops or marinas. i'm sure someone in your area has them or something close to it.

I got a pack of assorted sized rubber grommets from the parts store, drill a small hole, insert the grommet and insert the wire. Finish up with a dab of sealant. The bag of grommets ran me less than $2. Inside, I ran my wires under the headliner and on the outside, I ran them inside the rails.
