Default Rugged Ridge Heavy duty tie rod kit.

I did a search and couldnt realy find what i was lookign for. I need to rebuild my front end and i plan on doiing it when i get my tires and wheels do it all one shot. Im looking at the rugged ridge heavy tie rod kit. hows this set up. I am currently running a 3.5 RE lift and i will be adding a coil spacer if that matters.

If you're talking about the crossover kit it works good but it does have a little play in it due to the design. JCRs kit has a block that replaces one of the grease boots and that can fix some of it. I ran the RR kit and I'm pretty sure I could have jacked the front end up with it.

Wink

I read about that block that's an easy fix. What do you mean about jacking it up. It will lift the front end ?. The kit I'm looking at is around 280 dollars I found it on quadratec.com

The majority of info I have seen about the RR steering kit is negative. Yea its cheap, but you might as well do it right the first time and be happy. Click on frankz sig, go to Iron Rock Offroad, or look into Currie's setup. People have been very happy with each of those 3. If this is your DD for sure get a steering setup you are happy with. I run a ZJ tierod and am very happy with it for $30(used, and I over paid).

I was talking about how beefy it was and that I could have used it for a jacking point.
