I went with Zone 4.5" with shocks for $570. Ride isn't bad.

My bad, looks like you got the kit already. Enjoy

I have the RC 4.5" X-series kit and the front is great, the rear leafs are stiff. If shackle re locators don't help, I'll be switching the leaf packs out for IRO's. They're fine for road use, but my rig is off road 90% of the time.

How do I get the shackle angle to change from 90° without adding lift or as little as possible?

Look at the extra lift as an excuse to armor up. I ordered the 3.5" superflex with the full knowledge you get upwards of 4.5". That's why I'm tossing on a front winch bumper, rear bumper/tire carrier and a winch.

The easiest way is to get some relocation brackets. They're drilled out to accept up to 4 mounting positions for the shackle so you can get your angle just right.

I like my Jeep light. New Civics weight more than my Jeep now.

On my XJ there is a U-haul or something hitch mounted, and they didn't get a nut strip for the frame. They dropped bolts in the frame and nuts are on the bottom. I wonder how hard it is going to get the hitch off to mount a shackle relocation bracket.
