Default Rough country kit is in

Just finished my 3 in. rough country full leaf kit..on my 98 cherokee sport. Looks great. I'll put a pic up tomorrow ..it's dark now . Only prob is a week ago I put in new front sway bar bushings and links. Now after the kit is in my links are bent at the top where it connects to the sway bar. In another kit brackets are provided to drop the sway bar. obviously this kit needs them. I'm pissed off cause they are brand new ...now I have to buy new ones and brackets to drop the sway bar. Other than that kit was fairly simple. Jeep looks great.

Which kit did you get? The one with add-a-leafs or full leafs? My 3" rough country lift was the one with add-a-leafs and it came with sway bar drop brackets.

Don't bother with sway bar drop brackets, it sucks you just bought the links but I would go buy some quick disconnects if you want to use your lift. I got a set of RC quick discos for $55. Work great

I got the kit with full leafs as is says in the first sentence of my post. I believe on rough country's web sight it's the one for 508 bucks....leafs coils shocks...also ordered the steering stabilizer and 1 1/2 in. Wheel spacers.

To the guy telling me not to get the drop brackets!!! What else am I supposed to do to prevent the sway bar links from bending....before I put new links on...also I'm not a hard core off roader so I don't need quick disconnects .

You can't do anything besides get longer links, but its best to keep the sway bar close to the body, a lot if stress is put on the sway bar.

No I didn't think I needed them since the kit didn't include them.there was a more expensive kit that included control arms drop brackets but just had add a leafs ...I think ( not sure now)! I wanted full leafs but dam it if I need lower control arms and longer sway bar links why the hell don't Thayer suggest this stuff on there web sight!!!sure there were kits with all this stuff for a lot more money. If I knew I needed all this stuff I would have just got the kit that had it all. Now I have to order more crap and wait for it to come in prob 2weeks.

My kit came with add-a-leafs, coils, lower control arms, sway bar brackets, and shocks. I only paid $300 for mine cause I got it while it was on sale
