Top one is similar to mine. It will be close to the length of the factory roof rack.
Mine is 72"x40"x6"

Depends how you're mounting it. It's about 4' between the factory rails on the roof. Gutter mout is good.

My rail mounts didn't hold (rails came out off the roof) do I went to gutter. Brooke two sets of gutter mounts before I just decided to give up on running a roof rack.

I have my rack mounted to Thule crossbars that are mounted to the gutter. The distance between the Thule crossbar gutter mounts are ~40". If you are mounting to the factory rails than you should be fine. I've seen 52" wide racks and they seem to fit okay.

The system was rated to 250 lb. The rack came in under 70, the high lift was 35 and the spare was about 45. So nope. After that I went to to gutter mounts. Kept breaking the mounts. I don't miss my roof rack though. Went from 12 mpg to 17 mpg after I took it off. Like I said, never broke the rail mount, just ripped one of my rails out of the roof.
