ALL OTHER THINGS EQUAL

3 link will offer the most articulation, one less link to bind on.

4 link will be more stabile, better located axle, possible to get in a bind easier considering there is additional geometry.

Just like your Jeep Speed Guys run a 4 link.
While your off-roader build run a 3 link

Note: I'm talking about a 3 and 4 link systems plus a Panhard Bar (trackbar)

I'm not bringing up triangulated 4 links and other Jeep long arm kits (Radius Arm)

Don't agree at all...

I am a pure crawler that built a 4600 jeep converted over to a 1700 for a race then to 3700 and now full 3700 linked and bypasses. Would not agree at all....

Installed the long arms last weekend. I'm sitting on 5 inches of lift and this is what the lowers look like now...

Imagine if u had it at 2.5 inches

And that's just sitting. No flexing.

I think u might possibly get away by flipping the arms so bends go downwards but it might look strange

Don't have pictures. But while sitting at 5 inch. There's plenty of clearance for the upper link. I can't say about 2.5 though.

Closest thing may be 3.5" longarm by FullTraction.
And it's a 4 link!

I had the FT long arm kit on my last buggy. I would fully do that kit if the owners of the company were not such jack a$$es. Rock Krawler is just a better company on many levels.

I ran the FT kit with only one upper arm installed, but kept the other in the back box, just in case a bushing or anything ever failed on the trail with the one upper, I would just install the other and pull the one with the issue out...
