I actually have the black Pro-Comps on my XJ, but the Cragar 345 series are about the same and come in chrome.

The reason you see so many black steel wheels are they are used off road because of their strength and ability to be straightened if bent on rocks or something with a hammer (repaired on the spot and reused) and repainted. You could paint one silver and still have the same effect while the cost would be low not as much as chrome.

Yeah, I'm not so much interested in getting them in Chrome as I am in just a Chrome or Silver finish. When I bought my it had two different sets of rims on them and 2 of them we the chrome looking ones.
Was this just worn down from a different color?
