Does anybody have a jeep with aftermarket rims with a 1.5 or 3.75inch backspacing if so how does it look.

1.5? Better stock up on unit bearings..... Mine is 4" I'll get a picture up soon. But 3.75 I imagine would stick out quite a bit if you have trimmed fenders, probably a little past flush if you have OEM.

I hope you ment 3.5" instead of 1.5". Are you stock or lifted? 3.75" is the norm for most lifted jeeps they will stick out about 2" past the stock fender flare. Do some googling and you will find plenty of pics of rigs with 3.75" backspacing.

If you go with an 8" wheel it'll stick out about 1.5" to 2". You'll get a nice wide stance, but will play hell keeping mud and dirt off the side of your jeep. I run 17x7.5 with 4.75" backspacing and they stick out about 1/2" to 3/4" and still sling plenty of debris on my door. You will learn quickly to pull your arm inside when you hit a puddle.

you won't want a 10 inch wide rim for a 11.5 tire. too much stress on the bead and will likely loose a bead when airing down for wheeling.

i have 3 jeeps with an 8 inch rim all with 3.75 backspacing running 33x12.5 tire and 1 jeep with a 10 inch rim with 3.0 backspacing and running 36x13.5 tire.

my other jeep has 10.5 tire and a 7 inch rim with stock 5.5 backspacing.

Yeah what he said. You need an 8" wheel with 3.75" of BS a must for clearance of the frame and CA's. Here is mine with a 15x8 with 3.7.75 BS running a 33x12:50x15 tire.
