Default Replacing rear output shaft seal? right part?

Hey guys,

Just noticed the other day my rear output shaft is leaking, so I went to get a replacement, and this is what they gave me.

However it looks different then the one shown on quadratec and other online places.

Did they give me the wrong seal, or is it just different looking? Ps, also went looking around the autozone site and found this one, which looks like the quadratec one. Could this be the correct one?

You're going to need to tell us what year of what you're putting it into. Those links are for different applications.

Just an update.. At advance auto, the seal I was given has the part number 4370n. But it is NOT the right seal. I ended up getting mine from NAPA for like $6.45. Just get to the cherokee seals page and find the picture that looks like the red one that came out. Ill post the napa part num. tomorrow.

On the bright side the install was easy and painless, in fact it took longer to put the jeep on the lift then it did to change the seal.

Glad you got it. What was the part number of the one NAPA gave you?
