your civic had a low center of gravity and was meant to be a "racer" XJ's were designed to handle less than agreeable terrain, thus no need to have extreme handleing capabilities.

I ditched mine as well, but kept my front.. so the suggestions about leaving it on if you are going to tow.... are you talking heavy weight or what. I have a 1000lb MJ trailer and sometimes haul a 1000# plus... i dont go on long highway drives towing that only about 5 miles from either lowes or home depot.Originally Posted by DailyDriven
Yup! My UpCountry XJ came with the rear SB delete. Pulled my build sheet and saw the various different things done to the UpCountry. I also always wondered weather having a rear SB would help any. Ha I drove mine with a 6.5" lift and 34's from Montana to Louisiana with no sway bars and it was fine... BUT when I got here (Louisiana) the roads are so terrible that I had to put the front back on.. (added some JKS quick discos)... still havent had a need for the rear one and I pull fourwheelers/bass boats and stuff all the time
