Ok, on videos it sounds pretty loud and was wondering how it felt. Manuals in sure feel it more due to how the driver is with letting the clutch go

I have a Lokka and 4.88s and sometimes, in traffic, it will pop and jerk if the locker teeth engage just right. If you're not expecting it, it can be pretty startling. I'm getting used to it though.
You should see some peoples faces when I'm maneuvering in parking lots and such. They look at me like stuff is falling off of the jeep

I haven't experienced any "big" clinks from stop and go. A helped a good frined of mine install a Lokka in the rear of his TJ. The TJ is a manual and once we were done I had to head out. Well later that day he called me and told me that I needed to get my butt back out to his house and take that locker back out. He said his TJ was popping and cracking and the rear wanted to move around etc. I told him to realx that being a manual, he had better get used to it because my son in laws TJ did the exact same when we locked it. I can remeber watching his TJ from a take off in front of me and wath the TJ squat and the rear shift from one side to the other. Looks crazy..
So the jerking and popping from stop and go seems to be more related to the manuals.

had an open front and lokka locker in the rear for last winter. I liked it much better than being open, its much more predictable and you dont get the one wheel peel. it does clunk, pop, and ping but you will get used to it. Totally wurf it I would do it again in a heart beat. tell you the truth if the wife didnt drive it in the winter it would be spooled

from a wheeling stand point i like having the rear locked cause i dont have to shift to 4x4 much to get over stuff, i like it
