I searched a bit here as well as google and didn't come up with anything. Has anyone ever had a problem with their hatch no closing completely and locking due to flex and body damage/tweaks?

I came down fairly hard on my rear bumper on the pass side and the hatch won't close and the bumper is slightly tweaked. Warn rear bumper. Pictures tomorrow when light is suitable.

 

Yep.I just loosened the torx bolts on the latch then shut it then opened it back up and retightend them after I was sure it was alingned right.
