Rear flex ?!
Hey guys was wondering if anyone could help me out here , I got a 2000 Cherokee set up pretty nicely sittin On 35's and Clayton long arms , so the front gets pretty decent flex but my rear leafs seem to be holding me back due to lack of flex , I got rubicon express 5.5in coils up for with a small salver so I'm around 6 in and 4.5in rubicon express leafs and a 1in shackle
What should I do to help out the rear more , Ideas and it different set ups

My rear never flexed that well on my XJ until I went wheeling in moab with 2 Adults in the back seat and A cooler full of Ice, Spare parts, Tools ect......... Now it flexes great The added weight wheeling helped them out a bunch. I say throw a few hundred pounds of gear in it and wheel it for a few days if that doesn't help get a shackle relocation kit. Revolver shackles are a joke I ran them on My YJ for a few months and replaced them

are your shocks limiting your down travel?
if so, longer shocks or... some bpe's will help by lowering the top mount a bit, as would relocating the lower shock mount(fabbing required).
If it's not your shocks then going to a 3" leaf, 2" (adjustable so you can fine tune) shackle and relocation boxes is what I would do.

1st: You DID remove your rear swaybar...right?
2nd: There is a bolt in shackle box you need to cutoff/remove. One of the bolts holding the rear bumper to the unibody on each side sticks into the shackle box. It will clear the stock shackle, but not an aftermarket one that isn't tapered. It will limit the shackles travel if you don't take care of this issue. There is a pic near the last page of my build thread that shows this...I found it. Fixed my crappy ride issue, but I still flexed waaaaay better than that.

X2. Get some pictures of your shackle angle at ride height and at full stuff. See if we can help you out with any insight. Usually this is an issue of leafs being to stiff and/or a bad shackle angle. We have both standard and low pro shackle relocation kits if you would like to check some out.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I run the same leaf springs and had the same problem until I installed a shackle relocation kit. My problem was that my shackle just didn't have enough room in the box, it kept hitting the rear unibody crossmember thus restricting articulation.

remove your rear shocks. fully bump and measure, then droop out and measure. get shocks based on those #'s.
my shocks were 5"'s too short after my FST shackle boxes and 2" shackles. once the rear starts working it makes it way more capable.
