Rear Bumper Protector
Ok...since the how to section is messed up Ill post here...It always annoyed me how our XJ's didnt come with any type of plastic on the rear bumper in front of the hatch for protection... I tried to find one online and I couldnt and I didnt know what to do because I could'nt even find what I wanted to at home depot. Then I realized that I could use a spray on bedliner, the kind they use on pick-up truck beds and It worked perfectly. The only "prep" I did was wash down the area with soap and water then put a little wax on it, there were more instructions but I didn't follow them because I didn't need to lol. I got the spray from a trailer and pickup truck bed store. The link is the plastic thing I wanted originally and the picture is my finished job with the spray.

Yeah, because that bedliner is so much more protection.
I don't get it. I've never waxed a surface before painting it... I've removed wax before painting but never before. Strange.

It said on the can to wax the area first so I did it lol. It came out nice, nothing has come off and I like it haha. Thanks for moving it, Rob.
