Default Rear bumper on cherokee

What is the best way to secure a after market bumper on my jeep to keep it from getting pulled off? Thanks!

There should be a nut strip inside the frame. If not, you can get one. The bumper should have a piece of metal that extends back on the bottom of the frame and has holes to match the nut strip.

Circle S industries. Made here in the US. Not an easy install but well worth it. I also used 3/16” steel on the underside to sandwich the frame.

Depending on what bumper you get. My smittybuilt xrc came with everything including the nut strip.

Get some of those tie in brackets. Well worth it. I actually went a bit farther and plated my rear unibody rail under and around where those bolt to because the metal there is quite thin.
