homemade rear bumper
me and a friend made this bumper for a buddy this weekend. bumper is pretty sick im kinda jealous should of put it on my jeep. have the little tab on the left is for a cb. bumper is coated in bedliner

That doesnt seem like it would be to strong. I got an in wide 2x2" square that i wielded on then rounded out with a grinder. broken 2 d rings yet to budge any of my mounts. just and idea.

What if he used it and it snapped? that could really ruin somebody's day. Safety first!
The bumper does look good. Clean and simple = a great combination. But I would address that problem NOW.

if i were you i would swap it out now while its easy, there are many things you can do to make those stronger, and any of them i would recommend over leaving it as is.

X3....their could be an os situation where that bumper was put to the test....I've always beefed up any recovery point...it could be as simple as drilling a couple holes and thru-bolting as an added measure
