Im somewhat at a fork in the road here. I believe that I have narrowed my search down to a Rubicon 3.5" lift as they seem to be the most complete for the money. From what I can tell the main difference in the kits are the lack of disconnects in the 6025.
For the $175 difference I think disconnects could be added to the 6025 at a later time.
I'm looking at $585 for the RE6025 kit with free shipping.
Along with this kit I need to replace the factory shackles because they are pretty well rusted. Should I just buy factory replacement shackles or aftermarket. Also seems that I can only find lift shackles not factory height ones.
Aside from that, Is there anything else I MUST have for this install?
I hear a trackbar is important..but if its so important why is it not a part of any 3" lifts around?
It appears that the best tire size to run is a 31x10.5? what offset of wheels is suggested with this? I also really dont want to do any wheel well trimming because I'd like the body or the most part to remain stock.
Thanks guys for any input on this

The main difference between the two are super flex vs super ride. The super flex joints allow for more articulation where as the super ride joints are just your basic rubber joint. If you do a lot of wheeling go with the super flex but if not go with super ride. The super ride is suppose to be more like your factory ride quality.

I would stick with a factory replacement because most of your after market ones will actually provide some amount of lift.(www.quadratec.com, has factory shackles)

The instructions say you can drill a new hole for the factory track bar and most guys are fine with that but I didn't want to drill a hole next to a hole so I bought an adjustable one.
I would recommend larger front brake lines. The kit will tell you to just stretch out the factory lines but that didn't seem very practical to me so I bought some lines off a 95 wrangler that are direct bolt on's and are 3" longer than stock.

31's fit well with very minor rubbing. I run 31's on the road and when I go wheeling(mainly mud) I switch over to my 32 MT's. You can run 32's if you don't mind trimming the fender flares a bit. I'll have to check on the offset I think its like -13mm or something like that.

Disregard the above statement about trimming.

I don't believe those kits come with replacement shocks, but you will need new shocks appropriate for your lift size

I have the 3.5 superride lift. Well I have the coils and leaf springs, along with an RE track bar and TC drop.
This lift will net you 4-4.5. I would recommend an adjustable bar of some sort if you can, rather than drilling a hole next to a hole as stated above.
As stated new brake lines would be ideal, and i believe that kit comes with the rear, but you could fab up a bracket to remount your front brake lines, or just get a set of brake line extension brackets from RC or Rustys.
and for reference, I run 31's on 3.75 Back Space 15x8 Cragars. I cant tell you about rub as I havent had it out on the trails yet as i just did the lift about a month ago.

Yeah, ofcourse I'm going to need shocks. Any suggestions? Like iyhad stated before. My jeep is for the most part only hitting the trails on the weekends. And I don't plan on getting extreme with it. Yet
I may end up getting into it much more and if that happens ill pick up another Cherokee and do it up for that purpose.
