Default New jeep. RE lift?

I know i know sorry another lift question. I've heard some good things about RE and I think thats what im going to head with. I just wanna know which one is the best for what I need. Sometimes things are just overkill so I want to know if the 800 dollar kit is worth it or if i can get away with the 600 dollar one and save some money.

I live in Antigua and about 10% of the roads are paved. Many Many potholes sometimes up to 2-3 foot deep, basically holes in the road. This will be my DD and getting alot of suspension abuse (keep that in mind) Not going mudding or insane rockclimbing but I will be hitting some back trails to get to some private beaches. I'm basically looking for some nice ground clearance while getting some strength for these potholes.

What's the difference between these, besides the obvious. Which would be the most suitable for me? and which shocks should I get with them? I have 31x10.50r15 discoverer stt's. If there are better shocks let me know these are just the ones that they have for sale with the kit. Makes it alittle easier to ship everything in one box since im out of the country.

Lift kit
RE6030 - XJ 3.5" SUPER-FLEX W/REAR SPR
RE6025 - XJ 3.5" SUPER-RIDE W/REAR SPR
RE6020 - XJ 3.5" SUPER-RIDE KIT W/ADD-

Shocks
SK010634OME - XJ 3.5"-4.5" OME SHOCK KIT
SK010634RXJ - XJ 3.5"-4.5" RUBICON MONO-TUBE
SK010634RXT - XJ3.5"-4.5" RUBICON TWIN-TUBE

If you go with an RE lift get new rear leaf packs. On the 3.5 kits the difference it the lower control arms, super ride has standard rubber bushings, super flex has a flex joint. If it's for a lot of offroading get the flex joint ones. As for shocks of the 3 listed get either OME or RE Mono's, RE twin tubes are rough riding. Also make sure you get a .75" front coil spacer to help level it out since you run stock rear bumper.

OR now this is just a suggestion,OK. You could get a Rough country lift and have money left over to buy something else for your XJ or even go bigger tires HUH,huh just a suggestion.

IT all depends on what you want to use your rig for. If you want a stock ride with a lil lift, look at OME. They are pricey but I have yet to hear anyone complain about the lift or the ride. I run a few RE parts, and have had 0 issues. I also Run Rock Krawler parts. ABout the same in price just a lil beefier. I also have run some Rough Country parts. THey are a nice entry level kit, but they sometime can ride really rough. I have a set of thier front coils, and even after numerous wheeling trips, they still are not broken in.

Im using it as a DD but the roads here are like swiss cheese. The only time this truck will see nice flat PAVED road is driving it to the port to ship it. I live in antigua and everything is mostly rock. So no REAL mud (im from Florida) and no huge utah rocks. Just alot of unexpected 2 foot deep pot holes and very very unmaintained roads. Just looking to get more ground clearance and not have the pot holes effect me as much. plus xj's look badass with alittle meat to them.

See what im doing is getting all the parts i can shipped to my parents house and then im going to do a complete overhaul when I travel there for a long weekend to ship it. So I want to make sure im getting all the right stuff because I only get one shot at this.

run the RE superflex kit and get yourself bilstein 5150 shocks... 8" travel (higher valve... 255/70) should do the trick. youll thank me later

So the 8" travel ones would work..I was debating between 10" and 8" and wasn't sure which I would go with.

is a really, colossally, unbelievably BAD idea.....

He needs something that won't kill him while DD'ing it.... Not something that give you lift while crucifiying your ride quality.

I run 8s, 10s might be a tad too large.

Use this to check:

Ideally, just and SYE and driveshaft. you can get away with dropping the tcase an inch for a while.
