So I just got my lift on a few weeks ago. Been working some things out with it, including steering noise/pop. Originally I didn't have the track bar completely torqued down, pop went away. Now a week or 2 later I started having mild click/pop. So me and a friend went under there today and I got the torque wrench out and torqued it to spec, I was about 5ft lbs short, I was also able to tighten up the axle side as well about half a turn or less.

So I took it out and the creaking was way louder and I'm like wtf? He stopped back over about an hour ago and still determined it was from the track bar. For poops and giggles I busted out the spray lube and sprayed the heim joint on the top..... noise gone.

Is this somehing I should oil occasionally? No where in directions is there any maintenance info.

Edit: I have the RE1600 track bar. This just goes in stock location, no brackets with this one.

Sounds like the heim is worn out. They have a teflon insert and don't need lubed. Some have a zerk fitting but the RE ones don't.

I went through the same problem! It really pissed me off. I've had 3 of their lifts on previous jeeps.. I went RC this time

Btw, I used grease and it kinda cured it.. gl

I think all heims have that teflon insert.. but I always use 3-1 oil on mine... Everytie I change fluids.. or before I go wheeling.

Called them, they have terible support. Didn't offer to send me a new one, said they are like 30 to replace. Also he was adament on the torque of the frame side bolt, aske me what I had it torqued to, told him 115 as the manual states. He then says, oh there is a typo, it should be 150. Wtf I had a hell of a time doing 115, that bolt ain't going anywhere. I said, but still torque strength on that should be irrelevant to noise in the joint. I was told, not necesarily. So then I just got off the phone with him. He also told me the joints are only good for a year.

Wow really regret this bar and nothing I can do right now since I drilled the hole out per instructions.
