RE leaf spring bushings
I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee with the Rubicon Express 3.5 inch lift leaf springs. (RE1463) And I need new bushings because the original ones have failed. (After only 7 months)
I Ordered some custom ones from spangleBros
(RB-121 Rubber Bushing 2 O.D. 9/16 I.D. 2.5 Length 3.125 Overall) as per some older form suggestions. But it's really bad and I have a road trip coming up the day after Easter (no off-roading just street driving). So I need to make something work in the means time, (ordered bushings still shipping) older forms (2012-2014) say to get these two Napa bushings. They've been discontinued from Napa I can't find them anywhere. And four wheel parts is out of stock for the original bushings. Does anybody else have a fix.
Tools I have at my disposal:
Ball joint press
Welder,
Grinder,
Hand tools,
Impact wrench,
Blowtorch,
I plan on doing the job on Sunday.
