R.E 4.5lift leaf spring bushings
Hope the pros can answer this question. Paging Jeep Professional.
OK HERE GOES..
Need to find replacment rear shackle bushings for rubicon express leaf springs.
I talked to R.E on the phone and was quoted 72 buks, which is outta sight just for bushings plus shipping and waiting.
So few ppl have said aftermarket leaf spring bushings for older YJ would work.
Has anybody replaced the leaf springs bushings on R.E lift?
What part number?
Where to get them?
Keep in mind i have called every autoparts store in las vegas and nobody has anything in stock to size up.
From eye ball with ruler my bushings are 2 1/2 inch long, 1 1/2 wide o.d. and 1/2 inch bolt or 9/16 sleeve.
anybody, please help me out, really needd to get these bushing replaced this wknd.
thank you in advance.

They should be the same size as stock. $72 is pretty pricey for some bushings. If the parts stores don't have any, you're gonna have to order them from somewhere anyways. Google the bushings and buy some cheaper ones. Most sites tell you the dimensions of the bushings

If your parts stores are like mine unless you can give the the year make and motor the vehicle has they can't find it. I got them to look up a radiator cap for a 74 Beetle at Autozone. He got a bit mad when another customer let him in on my joke.
If you find any post it up cause I could use some too.

Ended up with this kit. Due to time frame and price. Was able to get this overnighted at the local 4 wheel store. And installed over the wknd.
But we had to cut down the length of the bushing & sleeve about 1/4 inch. and also grinded down the lip part a bit to make the fit. But we got them installed and im glad.
The old bushings were shot to ****..
