this may be a stupid question but here it goes, i just ordered the RC 4.5" x-series lift, my question is does that lift come with all the replacement bolts or do i have to buy them seperate, if i have to buy them seperate any reccomendations where i should get them?

lift kit should come with everything you need to put it on.

ok great, im preparing for the worst and want to be prepared for bolts breaking, any reccomendations on wat size/where to get the bolts?

It depends on which bolts you intend to break.

Let me know when they break and I'll let you know what size they are.

im putting my lift on about 2 hours from my house and it's pretty far from any hardware store so i wanna bring 2 or 3 of each size just to make sure and be prepared so everything goes smooth, i just dont know what sizes any of them are

Pretty much everywhere in the country has a place that caters to business users that need fasteners. They generally don't advertise much and don't have a lot of signage. Ask around. Check the yellow pages.

Plan on breaking the rear upper shock bolts. I would soak the crap out of the leaf spring bolts in the rear well ahead of time. I used ATF on mine, and they were still a b**** to get out. After the amount I had to hammer and twist on those bolts, I opted to replace them just out of safety. You can get them from a specialty bolt place, don't recall the size, but dealership is probably the best plan. Those were really the only bolts that were difficult in my installation.

an ace hardware or home depot won't have bolts like that? i somehow have to find the size for those

HD doesn't sell the graded bolts you will want for suspension work.

I believe that ACE is a franchise. Some may, most won't.

Lowes sells grade 8 bolts. Fwiw I didn't break any bolts on mine. Pb blast ftw also mine wasn't a rust bucket.

I am not sure if ace or HD or lowes will have those or not. I have a place here called Suburban Bolt Supply, they supply places with all sorts of specialty fasteners. I just went to them, they hooked me up.

I think the rear leaf springs were M14 bolts Grade 10.9 (Metric Grade 8 Equivalent) if I remember correctly.

For the rear shocks, I used shock relocation brackets. While they were not totally necessary, I went with them, they were super easy. Just search on here how to remove broken upper shock bolts, you will find about 234529874309 posts.
