Is that bolt worn down at all? Like thinner than the others due to rust? I know one of mine was when I did my lift.

I thought they might be worn. They dont look like it though. Boths sides move. I might buy 1 bolt and see what happens

The torque specs for the LCA's on that site are wrong. It's 95 ft lbs at the frame and 95 ft lbs at the axle according to the RC lift kit instructions I'm looking at (I believe BDS is the same spec but I can check if you like) and 85 ft lbs stock (obtained from 95 xj/yj factory service manual). So using the 133 ft lbs torque is crushing the bushing sleeve and causing premature failure.

I understand completely. I only looked at the lca specs cuz thats where your issue is. I'm not saying they are all wrong on there, but the lca ones are. I suggest grabbing a haynes repair manual if for nothing else but reference when the instructions don't include specs. Which RC kit did you get, part number wise?

Well the new arms came in today. I also picked 2 new bolts up even though mine were fine. The dealer gave me a different style bolt that seems much better. The shoulder goes all the way to the threads. No more clunking with the new arms!

I know the bolt you are talking about, the dealer replacement is actually a lot stronger too.

I run a RC front 4.5" coils, settled at 5.25", lol... I was pissed about the extra lift, I was not ready for it. (originally I was running RC 3" front coils)

I had RC 3" add a leaf, it was almost 4" when I first put it on, it settled at 3.25"

I also run RC 1.5" lift shackles

NO ISSUES here

in addition I am running the following

JK rubicon front upper and lower control arms (longer, stronger and better clearance than XJ arms)

homemade control arm brackets with adjustment shims

homemade double sheet trackbar

homemade shackle relocation brackets... I used this weird thing called geometry to figure out where they would need to be positioned.
