RC 6.5" lift without SYE?

So the guy at my local Jeep shop told me I would not need an SYE because the lift comes with a transfer case drop...

On this forum however I have heard the exact oppisite...

like you will most likely experience driveline vibes really badly, which could cause some major damage

Anything over 35mph your gonna be rattling your teeth out. Id also be a bit scared of the driveshaft just coming out. At that height your driveshaft is gonna be pulled out a lot.

Do I need to by just an SYE or an SYE and a new driveshaft?

You cannot use your factory driveshaft with a SYE. so you will need a new driveshaft. Or you can use a front driveshaft. That is what I did.

i thought that front driveshaft only worked up to bout 5-5.5" lift?

I run a front shaft with my HNT what trans, T case, and rear axle do you have?

Shouldn't all this information be on these lift companies websites?

I'm new in the jeep world so I don't know a whole lot about their suspension systems, also surprised that this information wasn't given to me by the Jeep shops owner, he's only been working on these things for like a 1000 years...

Dude I have no idea..

It's a 98 cherokee Se

Pretty sure my rear is the chrysler 8.25... thats all I'm pretty sure about.

Is there a website to find out?

It's an automatic and has 4hi and 4lo
