Default RC 6.5 LA on 96 xj

Ok fellas so everything went great. Lift on, sye on, tires, etc. Now I have noticed a low thud annytime the rear end goes over a bigger bump and the front pops and creeks a lot.. is this just something I am not used to with this type of lift?? It drives terrific. Please ease my mind!!

Welcome to owning a lifted Cherokee...

Keep everything greased up and it should cut down on some of the noises. RC joints aren't the quietest.

I'd guess the thud you're hearing in the back is the shackle bottoming out in the shackle hanger with the tall *** leaf springs.

Hahaa I figured it was something like that. It doesn't sound like stuff is breaking but just weird pops.. I have been a smaller lift/wrangler guy til now.. I'm get used to it. I'm just checkin myself, ya know how it is

Pops are different. Is the track bar bracket moving when you turn the steering wheel?

Not that I can see.. it only makes the weird noises when it starts flexing. Turns and street driving its perfect. Then even going over a speed bump slow it creeks ALOT
