As I am still mulling over my lift options, I view the junkyard parts list quite frequently. When the list states UCA or LCA's from other jeeps can be used to replace the XJ LCA's up front because they are a couple inches longer to accommodate a lift, what size lift are we talking about? I'm guessing about 4-5" of lift since longer LCA's aren't needed for 3" of lift. I really want 4-5" of lift.... not 3"
here's from the JY parts list.
7. WJ rear LCA's = replace XJ front LCA's, 2" longer to accommodate a lift, some grinding required
10. JK rear UCA = use as XJ LCA, its about 1-2" longer
So these would suffice for a 4-5" lift?

I caution using WJ lowers because except for original early factory ones, all replacement arms have shock absorbing bushings in the axle end that don't last long when used on anything but hard pavement. The bushing inserts are oval shaped so round ones would need to be welded in with questionable results. I put Rusty's Offroad LCAs in my WJ and now it rides like an XJ! Well...almost.
