Question: IRO OTK Steering
So I installed the steering today and it went really smooth, everything fell into place. I tightened the steering up and went around the block to check it all out and I keep on hearing a "pop" noise coming from it but can't pinpoint it. And I get death wobble now.
So I went home and found a jam not loose so I tightened it and then I added my SS back on. Now I get no DW but the drag link at the passenger knuckle keeps "falling" down. I put it facing up, go for a test drive and it's fallen down.
Please look at the pics and let me know if you see anything wrong or out of place. Or if you have any ideas please.

When I decide to upgrade my brakes I will likely go with Vanco knuckles. I was looking for pics and came across this- http://www.wranglerforum.com/f282/wj...on-136648.html
Study that link.....they mention Vanco kit.
Then study the Vanco kit........IIRC WJ steering links are used.
or you could look into the Currie 1Ton kit.
Heim joints belong on tractors.......not trucks.

You have to get the clamps really tight. I had the same problem when I first installed mine.
