Did you all up/change your stock gears, or leave them how they are? If they are the same, how much different is it driving?

I swapped to 4.56 (anticipating a bump to 33's). If you thing you are going to stay at 32, I would recommend 4.10 if you do a lot of highway driving, and 4.56 if you do a lot of city driving / wheeling. I didn't know how under-powered the stock 3.55 gears felt until I upgraded. If you have the $$, do it.

I have stock gears. I went from 31's to these and I could feel a big difference. It's manageable though. Just go easy on it. Don't jump on the pedal.

I had stock gears and hated it. Cost me tons of cash at the gas station. I searched junkyards till I found 4cyl. XJ's which have factory 4.10 gears. I paided 250 for the front and 200 for the rear. And I got about 2 more mpg's. Now I just need Newt Gingrich to get elected and bring gas prices down to 2.50 a gal.

I have 3.07 gears, AX-15, and 33s. I have essentially lost 5th gear. I keep it in 4th for highway and ride the clutch from a stop. About to install 4.10s. With a manual trans, it's bearable.

I run the stock 3.55's on 32's. It's much more of a dog, but it's not unmanagable. I'll upgrade them eventually. The worst part is the gear hunting on minor hills on the highway. Around town it doesn't bother me at all.

I run ax15 and 32's with 4.5". A bit under powered with stock gears but light on the peddle and i get about 17.. Not bad but still has a little gitte-up and go on 32's.
