yes. that's the tire size I watched get ripped off a d30 disco axle. it costs some time and money to prepare a jeep for lockers and wheeling

I wouldn't lock a Dana 35 unless it was free. Thats the only reason I locked mine, I had a spare carrier laying around and Lincoln locked it.

As for the front, I've seen disconnect D30s hold up fine for years of hard wheeling with lockers and 35's. I wouldn't worry about the front too much unless you go bigger than a 35" tire.

you're not disclosing all the information right? they have upgraded ujoints and snap rings bare minimum right? or they don't have gears and the engine is a 4cyl? I'd be questioning how "hard" that wheeling is if they're not breaking disco parts on 35's..

theres only a couple things I'm stubborn about upgrade wise. and it's usually because I've had to spend an all nighter on the trail helping someone wait and replace parts on their rig. don't be that guy!

ujoints are one of those things. full circle snap rings will save your ****.

Stock axles, stock u joints, no trusses or anything like that. Still the original joints and axles too. And 4.88 gears in both. One 2.5, one 4.0. Been all over Moab, been on the Rubicon, and wheeled locally. They're holding up great. I've been impressed with them, I'm not worried about locking the stock D30 in my 87 XJ and going up to 35's.

they must be old with a light foot. probably YJ guys

theres no way those tiny ujoints will hold up to any reckless (fun) wheeling. I've personally watched them snap like toothpicks. also in my experience I've found that having the 4cyl makes a huge difference in what wheel/axle combo you are allowed to run
