I've had em on one of my jeeps for a year or two now. They haven't settled much, I haven't wheeled em a ton or carried more than 200 lbs of gear at one point. Ill see if I can take a measurement later tomorrow. The shims help alleviate driveline vibrations. If you have an sye they're definitely reccommended.

I've heard about that and I see what you mean I'm more worried about my driveshaft and the angle also heard I could get up to 4" or more with them

I just installed some Pro Comp 3" springs with the built-in shims and I'm getting really bad vibrations around 25mph. I haven't done much with it since I installed them since I'm waiting for my new tires to come in. I was toying with the idea of trying to get the shims off of them to see if that helps with my vibration since I don't have an SYE and would like to avoid putting one on right now as cash is a little tight with the holidays and all.

Honestly I've only got maybe 5 miles on the Jeep since I did the lift and I checked the u-joints on the rear shaft and they seem rock solid.

Possibly, I'd have to take a look and see what I was dealing with. I'd rather not go through the hassle, but it would probably be cheaper than the SYE/DS combo but if that's what I have to do, I will start saving my pennies.

So thinking about it last night I'm not sure a TC drop will help because it would actually make my rear angle worse because of the shims. I really need to get out and take some pictures, but from memory, my rear angle is closer to 0 because of the shims and if I lowered the TC I'd actually have more of a negative angle than I had prior. Kinda sucks that it's already dark out when I get home from work and it's been raining the last 2 days so I haven't done any work on the Jeep. Maybe this weekend I can get out there during the day, but it's supposed to be bitter cold. *sigh*
