pre96 to 98 gastank swap
supposingly the pre96 xjs have metal tanks and my 98 has a plastic one that hangs lower then pre96 tanks. are tanks direct bolt-on swap? in guessing the metal tank is better, stronger and higher..

Not bolt in. 96 and lower will have the incorect pump. Incorrect lines and none of the evap stuff on it.
So in short terms.... no.... it won't be a direct swap
