they work great for the money.
but you have to be careful with one in a 35 with 33 inch tires. i wouldn't think about it with anything larger.
would work great with 31's.

I'm looking at a powertrax no-slip for my C8.25 (pretty sure it's a 29 spline). anyone have any good on road experience with these? Like you do you need to drive a certain way around corners or are these lockers totally "invisible" as they say on the pavement.

you will only notice the locker if you really step on the gas going around corners, or anytime on loose surface.
otherwise if you coast around a corner, or slightly on the gas, you will hear the clicking. some think it's loud and annoying, i think it's awesome.

I agree ^ , when I put my Aussie in my Tacoma, at first it was noticable, but now I dont hear it. Biggest thing was learning to coast or lightly accel. when making tight turns.

I run one in my 8.8 and it's done great for me on the trails. My xj doesn't see much street time but when i do drive it i can't even tell it's there unless i make a sharp turn and get on the gas a little. My aussie locker in the front makes a clicking when slowing down but i rarely hear the powertrax.

The lockrite and Aussie click around corners but the powertrax no slip does not. It has the synchro ring to eliminate the clicking

I drive on the street 90% of the time and the powertrax actually tries to stay unlocked till it's needed whereas the lockrite and aussie try to stay locked until they are forced to unlock around corners. Not to mention I have the little springs in the saddle that keep it from clunking when I get on and off the gas so it's more street friendly I suppose. Also I managed to break all the springs and pins in my lockrite twice before I junked it
